In these studies, patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s, stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, and schizophrenia have all undergone either placebo or CBD treatments in order to evaluate their effect. While all of these conditions are often treated with medications that contain multiple anti-oxidants, none of them have been tested as a stand-alone treatment for anxiety and other disorders. However, there are currently clinical trials testing CBD oil as an anxiety remedy for post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and other psychological disorders.

Since CBD is found in very few foods, it can take a great deal of time consuming it in order to have any positive effects. For this reason, many people choose to add CBD oil to their daily diet either as an extract a pill, or a topical application such as a cream. Since CBD is low in fat and is lipid soluble, it makes it easy to spread through food and drink without unnecessary effort. This means that individuals with diabetes, heart disease, and even those who are trying to lose weight can benefit from adding CBD to their daily routine. Adding CBD to your diet has also been shown to improve circulation to the extremities, which can help treat diabetes and high blood pressure. With so many health benefits, it is not surprising that CBD is quickly becoming one of the fastest growing natural supplements on the market.
